Ambassador Victoria Kennedy visited the Lower Austrian capital St. Pölten for the first time yesterday. During a productive working discussion with Lower Austria’s Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner and during the joint interview with the Niederösterreichische Nachrichten, the main focus was on solidarity with Ukraine, joint efforts to combat climate change and the excellent economic relations between Lower Austria and the USA.
To emphasize the latter point, the Ambassador also paid a visit to Lower Austrian companies DSM Austria, BIOMIN and Romer Labs with strong US ties, and gained insight into the innovative startup ecosystem in Austria at Tecnet Equity with Ribbon Biolabs and Boomerank.

In addition, Ambassador Kennedy enjoyed an impressive tour of Melk Abbey and a lively exchange with students from Melk Abbey High School.
Many thanks to all our friends and partners for their hospitality!
