The program offers students the experience of working in a foreign affairs arena. Internships range from 2 to 4 months. Selected students will undergo security checks and will be required to provide evidence of health insurance. Please note that applicants must be registered as full time students at a University or Fachhochschule in Austria. Vacant internship positions will be advertised on the page: Internship Announcements.
Applicants are requested to follow the application procedures as indicated on the announcements. Students selected must pass a background check and receive a clearance from the Embassy before commencement of the internship. The security check can take up to three months and may require a personal interview with the security department of the Embassy.
