“Hollywood in Vienna” Reception 2015

Film composer James Newton Howard is this year’s recipient of the Max Steiner Film Music Achievement Award which is part of the annual “Hollywood in Vienna” film music program. U.S. Ambassador Alexa Wesner gave a reception in honor of Mr. Howard and the ongoing musical relationship between the U.S. and Austria. Founder, producer and artistic director of the program Sandra Tomek introduced samples of his music from the films “The Village” and “The Hunger Games” played live by the Janoska Quartet, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, violin and Ina Petkova-Apostolova, cello.
