On May 17, Linda Holzer performed music by Margaret Bonds (1913-1972),  Missy Mazzolli (*1980), Florence Price (1887-1953) and Gwyneth Walker (*1947) at the Amerika Haus.

Linda Holzer is a professor of piano at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. An advocate for contemporary music, she has performed as a soloist and chamber musician throughout the U.S., including at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, and New York Public Radio Station WNYC-FM. She has also given concerts in Australia, China, and Europe. Dr. Holzer holds degrees in piano performance from Northwestern University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Florida State University.
