Kelly Gibson analyzes the U.S. Election Campaigns

Kelly Gibson, communication expert at Hamburger Gibson Creative, has lots of experience with the use of the media in campaigns throughout the U.S. In her presentation she showed video ads from the presidential candidates as well as ads produced by independent-expenditure only committees (Super PACs). Ms. Gibson talked about the financing situation of each candidate, how much money they have already spent on their campaigns, and she explained the strategies that underlie their outreach decisions. The Austrian journalist Ingrid Steiner-Gashi moderated the following discussion.
