The Changing Media Landscape in a Post-Truth World

On October 30, the U.S. Embassy organized a discussion on the future of journalism and media with Nicholas Kralev, a former longtime correspondent for the Washington Times and the Financial Times. Mr. Kralev, who has accompanied four U.S. Secretaries of State on their travels around the world, pointed out the challenges both legitimate media organizations and the public face in our Post-Truth world, as well as the impacts on journalistic values such as objectivity, credibility, and trust.

The discussion was moderated by Gunther Müller, journalist and program director at the Forum Journalismus und Medien Wien.
