“70 Years Marshall Plan” Exhibit at WKO Steiermark

The travelling exhibit „70 Years Marshall Plan in Austria,“ which focused on the United States’ exemplary recovery program for Europe, stopped in Graz where it opened at the Economic Chamber Styria on May 3. Following words of welcome by WKO-Director Dr. Karl-Heinz Dernoschek, who mentioned how important the Marshall Plan had been for the economic development of the State of Styria, U.S. Embassy Counselor for Public Affairs Dr. Daniel Mattern underlined how Austria had made the most of Marshall Plan aid by becoming one of the wealthiest nations in the decades since.
