On October 24, Steven Engelsman, director of the Weltmuseum Wien and Ralph Appelbaum, museum designer, New York and Barbara Plankensteiner, director of the Museum for Ethnology in Hamburg, discussed the vision & design of museums in the 21st century, showing examples among others from the National Museum of African American History & Culture and Weltmuseum Wien. The discussion was moderated by Dr. Daniel Mattern, Public Affairs Counselor, who also gave welcoming remarks.
