Today’s Voices hosted a screening of the documentary “Justice for My Sister” with Kimberly Bautista, producer of the documentary and renowned human rights activist. “Justice for My Sister” tells the story of Rebecca and her family who are fighting for justice for their murdered sister in Guatemala. During Ms. Bautista’s remarks following the screening, participants learnt more about the production process of the film and the protagonists. The issue of gender-based violence in Central America provided for a vibrant discussion at a reception that concluded the event.
